Program Spotlight

February 2024

We are delighted to introduce our newest cohort of scholars at the UCSF Pepper Center Program. With backgrounds spanning medicine, social sciences, public health, and more, they bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the field of geriatric research.

Joining our REC Program, we have James Deardorff, MD, Matthew Growdon, MD, Alison Rustagi, MD, PhD, and James Harrison, PhD. Joining our PESC Pilot Program, we have Theresa Allison, MD, PhD, Krista Harrison, PhD, Francesca Nicosia, PhD, and Jennifer James, PhD, MS, MSW.

We believe that their collective efforts will not only enhance our program but also make significant strides in aging research and geriatric care.
